Our Mission
Empowering Every Child to Heal, Grow, and Thrive
Austin Counseling and Education was founded on the belief that every child — no matter their background or circumstances — deserves access to compassionate, high-quality mental health and educational support.
We specialize in trauma-informed care for children and youth, including those in foster care, navigating PTSD, ADHD, substance use, and the critical transition into adult living. Our holistic approach honors the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — and meets each child exactly where they are.

Brad Austin, MA, LPC-S, LCDC
Owner & Treatment Director
Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor with more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health, juvenile justice, substance abuse treatment, and family services. Founder of Austin Counseling and Education, serving CPS, probation, court-mandated, and community clients throughout Texas since 1999.
